On December 30, 2019, Kata TV was rebranded. On July 10, 2019, Kata TV was acquired by Catalin Media Group, after the company was previously renamed Catalin Corp. On June 19, 2019, Kata TV started retransmission from Poland followed by Germany on July 9 and Polish audio track + subtitles was added & German audio track also on July 9. On April 22, 2019, Kata TV was rebranded. On February 5, 2018, Kata TV was launched in high-definition simulcast, stopped 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and stopped retransmission from Hungary & Moldova. On August 28, 2017, Kata TV was rebranded. On May 22, 2006, Kata TV switched to 16:9 image format. On November 22, 2001, Kata TV was acquired independently and rebranded at the same time. On April 1, 2000, Kata TV was rebranded with the new idents. On November 22, 1996, Kata TV changed the format, line-up and moved some programmings to the new family-oriented channel Kata Two as part of their 10th anniversary.
